Capital Improvement Projects & Update
F&G Initiatives this year:
First Quarter
- Uplighting added to landscaping around Rt 7 monument - specifically the upper tier of trees
- Landscape enhancements along Belmont Ridge, Riverside Pkwy and Woodridge
- Tree replacement (replace 9 dead trees with 9 new trees
- Trail repair and connection at CVS trail
- Trail repairs (identify the next critical areas of repair based on budgeted allowance)
- Trail expansion at Woodridge Pond (install the missing link to complete the walking loop around pond)
Second Quarter
- Black fluted signage poles - one fresh coat of black paint to be applied
- Irrigation line/head inspection and replacements - additionally get an irrigation map with control valve locations and zones
Third Quarter
- Stone monument and white fence expansion - west side of Belmont Ridge
Fourth Quarter
- Phase 5 of the black fluted signage poles - Deerfield Ave and Riverside Pkwy adjacent to Inova (50 poles)
- Woodbridge Parkway Landscaping Restoration – F&G Recommends a different design due to the slope, lack of irrigation, and rocks. Kathryn Edwards to obtain plans/bids for area.
- Water Quality Restoration at Ponds – Will table at this time.

In Lansdowne Conservancy, the Loudoun Transmission Line Alliance and The Piedmont Environmental Council for a community meeting on transmission line proliferation in Loudoun resulting from the data center explosion.
